Whop payouts explained: timing, fees, currencies and reserves

How long does a Whop payout take?

Whop's standard payout takes up to 5 business days (payout methods). Funds from a sale become available to withdraw 1 to 4 business days after the sale (troubleshoot payouts).

What do faster payouts cost?

• Next-day ACH to a US bank account: $2.50 per payout.
• Instant bank deposit, where offered: 4% + $2.50 per payout.
• Bank wire: $23. Crypto: 5% + $1. International local bank transfer: varies by country.

Which currency, and where to?

Whop pays out in the currency of the country you register, to a bank account, mobile wallet or crypto wallet, depending on the country (payout methods). Whop lists more than 200 countries and territories for payouts; some countries are missing and sanctioned countries are excluded (payout setup; sanctioned countries).

Verification, reserves and limits

You set up Whop Payments and verify your identity before you can withdraw (payout setup).

Whop can hold a reserve: part of your balance kept against refunds and disputes. Triggers Whop names include a new account, high refunds or disputes, and long delivery times such as pre-orders. Its example is 10% held for 90 days (reserves).

New Whop accounts are limited to $2,500 per checkout link until Whop raises the limit (higher checkout links).

What it costs to take a payment

Whop's card fee starts at 2.7% + $0.30 per domestic card, with +1.5% for international cards and +1% when currency is converted; other lines can apply (Whop fees).

Where CheckoutSwitch fits
